How to get Drifloon in Pokemon BDSP

Drifloon is an easy Pokemon to miss in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Many trainers end up trying to look for this Pokemon, whether it’s to use it in battle or just to finish up the Sinnoh Pokedex. Drifloon won’t be found in the wild, though. To encounter Drifloon, trainers will need to head to a special place at a special time.

How to catch Drifloon in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
In order to spawn one, you need to have reached the Valley Windworks (east of Floaroma Town) and defeated Team Galactic there. This happens after beating the first Gym Leader, Roark, in Oreburgh City. A single Drifloon will appear every Friday after this outside the building.

After you've chased off Team Galactic, the scientist and his daughter will drop hints about a special Pokémon which visits the Valley Windworks every week.

Drifloon shows up in front of the Valley Windworks, which is a building just west of Floaroma Town that gets taken over by Team Galactic. Here’s the catch, though: Drifloon only appears on Fridays.

Thankfully, Drifloon is easy to find - appearing outside the Valley Windworks and waiting for you to start the match. (More likely waiting for a lonely child to mistake it for a balloon, so it can carry them to who knows where.)
